My computer is running erratically; sometimes it boots quickly and other times it takes 10 minutes. Desktop icons do not always open and when they do it takes a long time.I read that reimaging would help to solve this problem. I tried tweaking.com but that didn’t help. I also tried dism but that also did not help. I do not have a copy of Windows 10 as the computer came with Windows installed as OEM.
I realize that reimaging would erase the contents of the hard drive. Sims 4 cc pack. If reimaging is doable, I know that I would need to backup my data and reinstall my applications.Thank you.Brian W.

Did the computer originally come with Win 10? If so, there may be a recovery partition on the hard drive that you can access to restore the computer back to the way it was the day you first got it.But, since it is Win 10, you can download a copy of the ISO files from Microsoft.
