Sometimes, we find ourselves in a situation where we enter safe mode, intentionally or unintentionally, and get stuck in there.It is important to understand something here. Nonetheless, there are times where it definitely gets to the point of annoying the heck out of you.But, all is not lost.

If you have somehow ended up in the safe mode and stuck there for quite a while now, then this guide will come in handy for you.There are tons of ways available on the web to turn-off Safe Mode on Android. Out of all of them, we are listing some which we have found to be working for most people. Let us start off with something simple. If the ones that are simple does not work for you, then we recommend going for the subsequent ones (Nope, they are not very complex themselves). Sounds too simple, eh? Not so surprisingly, restarting smartphones seems to solve most of the problems in them. Phone slows down? Poor cell reception?

After making sure the device is completely switched off, safely remove the back cover of the device.Step 3. Once the back cover is off, safely remove the battery out of the phone.Step 4. Remove the SIM card as well so that any SIM card settings will be reset.

Let us not leave any stone unturned. This has proved to work out well for a lot of people.

Wipe App CacheIf you suspect any particular app is causing this issue on your Android device, clearing the cache of the app might help. This way you get to keep the app and not even loose it’s data.Please note that the steps to Wipe App Cache might be slightly different from what we have shown below. This is because, different manufacturers organize the settings differently. But the steps should be very similar.Step 1. Open Settings on your Android device.Step 2. Scroll down until you see Apps and tap on the same.Step 3. Look for the app which you think might be causing the issue.

If I were you, I would be looking for the most recently installed app. Once you figure out the app, simply tap on the same.Step 4. Once you are in the App information screen, click on ‘ Storage‘.Step 5. Inside the Storage setting, you will have two options. Simply tap on ‘ Clear Cache‘ and you are good to go.Now, simply restart your device once manually and see if your able exit safe mode. Wipe App DataIf clearing the cache of the app did not solve your problem, we shall take it one step further. For the same app, we could try clearing the data.

This way, even though you may loose the data (which could always be synced again), you get to keep the app.Please note that the steps to Wipe App Data might be slightly different from what we have shown below. Wipe Device Cache PartitionAll right, if you have come this far, then it’s time to get into real action.

If none of the above steps have worked out for you, we shall try a few (little) advanced things. Our best bet at this point is to try clearing the device cache partition completely.In order to clear the cache partition of the entire device, you must.

This process might take some decent amount of time; stay patient and wait for the process to complete.

Visit the Service CenterAt this point, we have tried everything and nothing much is left to try. The reason for the constant Safe Mode saga on your device could also be physical damage (water damage).We do not advice manually cleaning your device by opening them using your own tools. Especially, the latest devices are way too complex for us to play around with.We strongly recommend visiting a brand authorized service center. They might be able to figure what is causing this issue and if you still have your warranty, you will get the issue resolved for free (or even get a new device altogether!). We highly doubt whether you’d need to use anything else. There are tons of reasons why this Safe Mode bug happens.
